Our little man...

WOW!!!....6 months old today. Where has the time gone? Everyone told us how the months would fly by and to cherish every moment. It is so hard to remember to be in the moment and not wish the days away.  To take in everything he's doing and not look ahead to tomorrow is such good advice for any new parent. Time slips by and before you know it your baby is no longer your baby. We look at Keaton today and feel like just yesterday we were heading to the hospital so anxious for his birth.  Yet, at the same time, it is hard to remember our life before he was in it. We are so lucky to be blessed with our little man. He enriches our lives in every way. Happy 6 month birthday Keaton!! We love you beyond words can express.

Love,

Your Mommy and Daddy

Almost six months old!!

Right before bath time. He always like to check out the handsome baby in the mirror.
He loves Coco. As you can tell the admiration isn't mutual :)
His favorite time of night is when he gets to roll around in just his diaper.
He loves his exersaucer!!
Laying with Dad. Do you think he got Mike's blue eyes? Lucky boy!!
All of us laying around.
My boys
I can't believe it...but next Sunday Keaton will be 6 months old!! It seems like just yesterday he was born, but we also can't remember what life would be like without him. It seems that everyday he discovers something new. He keeps life exciting and brings so much joy to our lives. He is eating apples, pears and squash!! He loves to eat!! We also introduced him to his first sippy cup. He's not too sure what to do with it though. He has 2 teeth and loves to chew on everything. He is so close to sitting up all by himself! He sits unassisted for a few seconds and then falls over, but we're working on it!! We all can't wait for Thanksgiving and all of the family getting into town. We're excited for all of them to see how big he's getting! Love to you all and hope you all have a wonderful Thanksgiving. We have so much to be thankful for.

Keaton and Super Mom

The day started out with Keaton and I heading into the office for a visit and lunch with the Wong's.  Keaton dressed as John McEnroe.  The costume actually started out as an idea to be Richard Simmons and morphed into John McEnroe. I spent the morning fixing Keatons shorts (seems that when you purchase your childs costume at a Bear clothing store - Build A Bear - they are a little snug and have a tail hole in the rear that needs to be sewn shut), ironing McEnroe's name on the back of the shirt and making/stringing his racket.  I guess I really am Super Mom :) We headed home after lunch for a nap (we both needed one) and then Keaton helped me make a spooky cake.  Later in the afternoon we headed to the Wong's for some Food, Trick or Treating and game night. It was a wonderful Halloween!!
