Introducing Josie Katherine Dahlberg

This past week was big for the Dahlberg household. Not only did we celebrate Keaton's third birthday but we got to welcome our beautiful daughter and sister Josie Katherine into the world. We can only hope that Josie is as easy to deal with in high school as she was during the delivery. Danny was induced at about 8:00 am and Josie was delivered at 1:57 pm with minimal crying and eyes wide open. Despite her Mother's fears she was born with lots of hair and what appears to be blue eyes. She's got her Mom, brother and especially her Dad wrapped around her little (and very long) little fingers.

Keaton's 3rd Birthday

Last weekend we had a great time with friends and family celebrating Keaton's 3rd Birthday. We had a small party in our backyard and had a few out of town visitors. Aunt Kiki made the trip from MN, Uncle Crystal came from Tacoma and Nikki came down from Coeurdalene. Thanks to everyone who helped us celebrate and make Keaton's day so special.

Birds of Prey

A couple weekends ago we took Keaton to the Birds of Prey Center. Here are a couple photos.

Josie's crib

Even though she is sharing a room with her brother, this weekend I decided to add a little touch of "girl" to the room and sew a bumber (shown in photos) and crib skirt (not shown) for her hand me down crib. The orange storage bins underneath were made by Mike and Ed (Papa). I will try and get another photo showing the completed project.

*UPDATE* Photo added with the crib skirt

Simple joys :)
