This year I was one of the hostesses. We revisited our youth and did a kid themed night.
Complete with a School bus light/bar tour, s'mores, mac n cheese and
pigs in a blanket, and a good ol brown lunch sacks for the bus (don't forget the jello shots)!

It was a fun night with fabulous ladies!!!! To stick with the theme, instead of
gifting to each other, we all brought a gift for a needy child. I feel
so lucky to have such wonderful friends!!!

I only had my phone so these will have to do. Once again the mogensen's were gracious enough to throw a Santa bash. I love this party probably more than any other Christmas party. Such great memories for our kids. Thanks again mogs!!!!

This past Friday was Papa's Birthday. Keaton made him a card and helped me make cookies. We surprised Papa with a visit on Friday to deliver them. Then we had them over on Sunday for dinner. Keaton helped me bake Papa a cake and was pretty excited to sing Happy Birthday to him.

Uncle Dodo hasn't seen the kids since before Thanksgiving so he paid us a visit on Sunday. Not sure what to do with Josie's hair. One of the downsides of having hairy kids :)

Getting in the spirit!

The Holidays are upon us! With the start of December we were thrown right into the Holiday fun! We put up our Christmas decorations Thanksgiving weekends and are in full Holiday party mode with 3 more this weekend!! I can't believe only 19 more days until Christmas. Yes, we are counting them down in our house. We also have a visitor at our house. Smidgy, our very own Elf on the Shelf has come to live with us during the Holidays. He makes nightly trips back to the North Pole to report to Santa. I have to admit. Keaton was a little freaked out at first, but I think he has finally warmed up to him. Ah, the memories! Keaton informed us he needed a Santa costume.
He made due with two stockings and a hat.

A group photo at my work Holiday party. In theory it was a good idea to do something different and have the kids attend. That is unless you are the parents of the young kids. We really didn't get to socialize very much as we were too busy parenting. Keaton got to sit on Santas lap and was very excited while we were waiting. Once again he clammed up and didn't say a word. But, Santa said he could just tell Smidgy and he would report to Santa.

I think Keaton has a crush on her. We had our work Christmas party last Friday at the Botanical Gardens and these two were inseperable.
