My Mom and Ed drove down last weekend for a quick visit and to celebrate Ed's Grandfathers 93rd Bday!!! They got in early Friday morning and I quickly put my Mom to work helping me get ready for Sara Slaughters baby shower on Sunday. We baked cookies and cupcakes with a brief lunch break. Later that night we headed to Uncle Dodo's house where Sara cooked us a fabulous meal. We were joined by Cody, Kollan, Lexi, Brandie and Dave. Donny has a new house that is bigger than ours and much more condusive to family gatherings. I was happy to hand off the hostessing duties!! On Saturday Keaton had his first school Bday party for his friend Drew from Daycare. She turned 4 and had a bowling party at the BSU Student Union Building. After that we headed to Great Grandpa Bruce's Bday shindig and caught up with Ed's side of the family. Many hadn't seen Keaton since he was a baby!!! Then on Sunday Wendy and I threw Sara Slaughter a little baby shower. We helped her feather her nest. It was a great weekend, but unfortunately I only have photos from the shower. Thanks for visiting Grandma and Granpa. We all had a great time.

Phoenix 2011
This past weekend we headed to Phoenix for some sun, fun and relaxation. Nana and Papa drove down and were able to join us for a few days and then they will continue their travels with a leisurely drive back to Boise with a few stops along the way to site see. Oh to be retired :)
We used this little getaway to celebrate Keaton's numbered days as an only child and to just have fun with him. Bill and Judy Post were kind enough to let us use their gorgeous home in Surprise, AZ. It was perfect!!!
We spent the weekend with outings to the zoo, a little shopping, a Spring Training baseball game and pool time!! It is just what this prego needed to push me through these last couple months.
Keaton at the zoo checking out the Macaws. Such a cool dude even with his shades on upside down.I can't beleive how big he is and that we will have a new baby soon.Hanging out in a tree with a little help from Papa. Nana and Papa getting ready to go on the chair lift zoo tour. Keaton and Dad ready. As you can see he was pretty excited. Bye Mom!!!!Away they go!Here they come!!I was wondering if he would come back with both shoes still on. Success!!Feeding the giraffes.Checking out the Rhino. Getting a lift from Papa. Reading the map (Papa can you see?)And telling Papa where to go next. Enjoying the pool at the Posts. He loved the water!!!!Staying cool He's got his goggles and on and is ready......to read a book with Nana. I guess they were reading goggles. Thinking "how the heck am I gonna get out of this thing?" Family pic at the baseball game.Chilling in the grass. Father and son at the baseball game. The first of many I am sure. Ronnie the Karate Kid in Action
I thought this photo that Ed took of Ronnie was pretty neat so I had to post it. I am so excited for Keaton to hang out with his cousin this summer. Keaton is going to follow him around everywhere....I can just see it. Ronnie, be prepared to be annoyed. Pretty sure he is going to think you are super cool :) Well, and of course you are!
