First Dentist Visit

I took Keaton to his first dentist appointment yesterday. It was really
just a meet and greet and get familiar for Keaton. The Dr. looked in his
mouth and he is getting his last 2 year molar, all the others are in.
The place (referred by the Mogensen's) is GREAT! Yesterday they had a
clown and a face painter. Keaton didn't want to leave. He also played
with all the instruments; squirted water, sucked it up, blew the air and
put them all in his mouth on his own with no problem. When we go back at
3 years he will have his teeth cleaned...I'm sure that visit will be
much different.

An oldie...but a goodie!

Happy Father's Day

Big Boy Bed

We decided the time had come for Keaton to make the transition from his crib to a toddler bed. We borrowed the bed from some friends and have had it sitting in the garage for a week or so. Last night we finally had time to take the crib down and set up the new bed. He cried a little when we were taking it down and moving it. I think that was mostly because his room was in shambles. But, I kept explaining to him that we were moving his big boy bed in and that he would be sleeping in that now. That seemed to ease his emotions. We did our usual ritual for bed last night and then laid him down with out any fuss. He did shut his monitor off once but as far as I know didn't get out of his bed once and was still on there this morning when I went to get him ready. Sometimes he makes this parenting thing too easy (and other times he makes it hard as hell).     :)
