So excited about this....

That I had to do a BLOG post!! Anyone that knows me also knows my
overactive gag reflex. That gag reflex and energy gel are not a good
combination. So in preparing for my first half marathon I have been in
search of something that I could eat or drink at about mile 7 or 8 that
would sustain my energy for the last few miles. EUREKA! I found it!! I
am so excited to try them. Now if only I was feeling 100%. I got some
sort of stomach bug yesterday and my race is this Sunday. PERFECT
TIMING! Stay tuned to see how it all unfolds!

Cousins...

A couple weekends ago we had a visit from Aunt Lauri and Cousin Ronnie. Papa and Nana were great to watch the boys while we went to the BSU game and while we rafted one Sunday. Thanks Nana and Papa....these boys are lucky to have you two!! Here are some photos Papa took of their fun times together.

Attack of the killer chickens!!!!

No....not really...but from these photos you sure would think so. A couple weekends ago Laura, Alice, Kyle, Keaton and myself headed to a friend of mines house to pick some of his fresh fruits and veggies. We came home with peaches, tomatoes, raspberries, bell peppers, green beens, fresh basil, apples, and grapes. In addition to all the yummy fruit and veggies Darin also had two hens roaming around. Keaton and Alice were not impressed. Don't worry....no kids (or chickens) were harmed in taking these photos.

Visit from Grandma and Grandpa Heck

We had a great visit this last weekend with my parents from Post Falls. We had a great time boating, tailgating and visiting. Thanks for coming and visiting and for all the goodies for Keaton. He is such a lucky kid to have such wonderful, loving grandparents in his life. Love you and miss you guys already!

Tracy's visit....

We had a good time with Tracy visiting this weekend. I took her on her
very first Mt. Bike ride, we had a party at Brandie's for the CAL game
and we did some rafting on Sunday. It was a good time!! Here she is in
action on the bike.
