The Slaughter Wedding

Friday June 12th was the wedding of some of our very good friends Ben and Sara. The wedding was gorgeous and a great time was had by all!!! A few weekends ago Mike and I decided to head up to McCall and spend the weekend at the campground where we were married. We had fabulous weather and did some bike riding into McCall, a nice run, had some pool time with Keaton and played a lot of cribbage. Here are the few photos we took of the weekend.

Well....it's official!

Keaton is officially walking! I promise to get some video and get it posted this week. We will mark it down in the scrap book at just shy of 13 months. We were on vacation last week and he just started walking up a storm! We got home last night and he has already fallen down and split his lip. Poor little guy. I bet there are many more bumps and bruises to come. I will post vacation pics and videos soon too!!

Mike's 35th B-day is tomorrow. Happy early B-day!!

A little late....

I just wanted to write a little note to wish my fabulous Husband a very Happy Father's day. If any of you know me, you know how I like to give a little "good natured ribbing" as we like to call it. And unfortunately I think Mike gets the brunt of my teasing (Keaton is still a little too young to appreciate his Mom's sense of humor, but his time will come). I tease Mike for being the worry wart, being sentimental, being forgetful and so on. The things I tease Mike about are the same things I probably could use a little more of in my own personality. I could use more of Mike's caring ways, he hates to ever let anyone down or hurt anyones feelings. I could use to be a little more sentimental like Mike. He is always cherishing memories and always looking for new memories to make. I could stand to be a little less regimented and a little more go with the flow like Mike. I think when you find the person you are going to marry and spend the rest of your life with you find someone who compliments your personality and brings out the best in you. Well, Mike you make me strive to be a better person. I always say you are the nicest person I have ever met and I feel like the luckiest woman alive to have you as my husband. Keaton is a lucky kid too. Happy Father's day. We love you very much.

Happy Father's day to Papa Ed and Grandpa Ed too. Also happy Father's day to my brother Casey and Mike's brother Doug. We love you all.

Puppy love.....

Keaton loves anything fuzzy. Fuzzy socks, puppies, cats, blankies, stuffed animals.....you name it. If it's fuzzy he sucks his thumb & cuddles it. Here he is with a friends dog a couple weeks ago.

We are leaving today for minneapolis to spend a week at papa's cabin on big sandy lake. Vacation here we come.
