End of an Era

Keaton with Great-Grandma Anderson

My sister and I with Grandma and Grandpa

Although the Dahlberg family had a great Christmas in McCall we did receive some sad news on Christmas morning.  My Mom's Mother, Ellen Anderson, passed away at the age of 89 years old.  She was a wonderful woman and will be missed.  She was the last Grandparent on my side of the family, so as my Dad put it "It's the end of an era".  With Grandma's passing, the torch of family statesman has been officially passed to my parents and uncles and aunts.  I hope none of them feel any apprehension with accepting this role because they learned from the best.  I think I speak for my siblings and cousins in saying that we know you will all excel in the role and we all look forward to our children learning life's lessons from their Grandparents as we learned them from ours.

We miss you Grandma Anderson and we hope you had a great Christmas with Grandpa and Uncle Ronnie.

Baby's First Christmas

Well....you might think the title of this entry would mean Keaton's first Christmas...but I was talking about another new baby that Mike and I got for Christmas from Nana and Papa. I had to show off some of our handy work with our new camera and it's first time capturing many Christmas (and other) memories to come!!

Katie surprised Ed and Donna and flew into Boise then drove up to McCall for Christmas!

All smiles
As his daddy put it....three generations of Dahlberg women...wait....what?

Happy Holidays everyone! We hope this finds you all doing well and enjoying the season to the fullest! Much love to those near and far. Wishes of health and happiness to you always!

7 months

Keaton is 7 months old tomorrow!!! He was really trying to crawl this weekend over at Nana and Papa's. His Papa caught it on film for us. He was getting up on his knees...hasn't done that before and lurching back and forth really wanting to move! It's only a matter of time now. He is such a good sitter now. And can sit all by himself and steady himself if he starts to fall over. We've had only one bad fall hitting his head and then crying....so sad!!!!

Girlfriends Christmas

This year our Girlfriends Christmas celebration was a little different. Instead of buying and exchanging gifts with eachother we were Angels to the Salvation Army. It was held at Molly's house and Cody, Molly and Nooner were our hostesses. It was a lovely time with lovely ladies. I am extremely blessed to have each of these women in my life. Love you all :)

Girls weekend in Seattle

This last weekend I had my first girls weekend away since I had Keaton. I headed to Seatlle and met up with Crystal, Nik and Betsy. We had a great time...but I missed my boys :) Here are some fun photos from the weekend. Thanks ladies for the good times. I miss you guys!!! Highlights of the weekend include getting our make up done (little did we know we'd leave looking more like streetwalkers than when we arrived), thumbmaster at a nice restaurant, candles and lotion, "summer" teeth, and much, much more!!
